Scientists in the UK are projecting a future third-wave of COVID-19 hospital visits and deaths to decrease from second-wave levels, with the majority affected having taken two doses of “vaccines.”
The April, 2021 report from the the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Modelling, Operational sub-group (SPI-M-O) forecasted the impact of a third wave on the UK.
A majority of the third-wave deaths are projected to be from those with two doses of experimental jabs.
Fact checkers at Full Fact explained, “This is because so many vulnerable people will have been vaccinated by then, not because the vaccine is harming them.”
