On May 3, 2011, one day after U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six killed Osama bin Laden, Joe Biden revealed the team’s identity while boasting at an Atlantic Council cocktail party.
A few months later, in Afghanistan, on August 6, 25 members of SEAL Team Six and 13 others were killed in a slow moving Chinook helicopter (callsign Extortion 17) by a Taliban-fired rocket-propelled grenade.
An Islamic prayer was said over the cremated Christian U.S. soldiers, since a chaplain was denied at the service.
Family members were furious at Biden’s remarks, that they believe “put a target” on their sons’ backs, by revealing classified intel from the bin-Laden mission.
