Meme of the Day: 100-Plus Days of Portland Riots Quietly Ending?

The Portland protests suddenly stopped after 100-plus days of violence and property damage. Was it the fires? They did not all pack up and move to the failed #WhiteHouseSiege that was scheduled to start September 17.

Nancy Pelosi admitted this week, for the first time since 2017, that leftist riots contained violence. Perhaps Democrats got some bad polling data, or they have escalated to ambushing police officers.

An internal document leaked from the Department of Homeland Security tells us what most already know: “We can’t say any longer that this violent situation is opportunistic… A core set of Threat actors are organized and show up night after night, and share common TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures). Threat actors who are motivated by Anarchists or ANTIFA (or a combination of both) ideologies to carry out acts of violence against State, Local and Federal authorities.”

Varvel Toon: Marxist Curriculum Under Scrutiny in Wisconsin

A school district meeting in Burlington, Wisconsin, near the Kenosha race riots, became heated as parents objected to a teacher to remove “critical race theory” indoctrination from federal contracts and other spending.

The Black Lives Matter movement has embraced “critical race theory,” a far-left worldview that racism is systemic and America is based on white supremacy. They also want to abolish the nuclear family, police, prisons and capitalism.

Officers Shot at Point Blank Range in Los Angeles

Update September 16: More police officers ambushed in nationwide attacks.

Two Los Angeles police deputies were shot in the head at point blank range on Saturday as they were parked on duty in Compton. Police are still hunting the for the shooter.

The officers were described only as a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old mother of a 6-year-old boy, both expected to miraculously survive.

Recently tensions have been rising since Los Angeles police shot a fleeing black man who had a gun near his feet during a chase, on August 31.

On June 5, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced he was shifting $150 million from the police budget to social justice programs, stating “It starts someplace, and we say we are going to be who we want to be or we’re going to continue being the killers that we are.”

The police union has condemned Garcetti’s rhetoric and use of the word “killers” while speaking of police.

On Saturday, protesters showed up at the hospital where the two police were in surgery, yelling “I hope they die!” (Video below.)

Black Lives Matter Protests Tracked by New Leftist Group

The newly created U.S. Crisis Moniter, involving socialist Princeton University, announced a project to track demonstrations related to the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement since the George Floyd riots.

Their obvious goal is to show how most BLM protests are peaceful, yet the report reveals 570 violent demonstrations in nearly 220 U.S. locations with 30 plus people dead.

The report’s methodology used a thin criteria to determine “riots.” Events where police were forced to use violence against protesters were not considered riots. Still, the largest 100 U.S. cities had 74 riots.

A lack of “riots” during the Seattle CHOP/CHAZ commune is highlighted, despite a neighborhood takeover, fires, shootings, rapes and several people dead.

After another violent weekend that saw a Trump supporter hunted down and executed in Portland, protesters invaded more family neighborhoods, chanting “Out of your homes and into the street.” in Washington D.C.

“They’re not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. Everyone should take note of that on both levels, that they’re not going to let up, and they should not, and we should not.”
